What content will my clients receive?

Homeowners will receive maintenance reminders, recall emails, and homeowner education emails.

How often will my clients receive emails from HomeBinder?

Homeowners receive maintenance reminder emails 6-8 times per year. They will receive any applicable appliance recall emails, and 7 educational emails over the first 10 weeks of binder ownership to get them off to a great start in their homeowner journey.

Do you sell client data? Will you share with third parties?

HomeBinder never sells your client data. We have a limited number of third-party associations that your client has access to, but has to actively opt-in to use. We perform a double-confirmation process to make sure your client wants to work with those companies.

Will my clients receive solicitations from HomeBinder?

HomeBinder does not solicit your clients.

How long does my client get the binder for free?

HomeBinder subscriptions are complimentary for the lifetime of the homeownership.

Will HomeBinder spam my Realtor email?

HomeBinder sends you a monthly summary of your account activity. We also have a monthly newsletter. Outside of notifications when your client has a binder created, we do not send any other emails to your inbox.

Can I add my own list of Home Professionals for my clients?

Yes, we encourage you to add your list of professionals.

What if I want to remove a Home Professional from my list?

You can remove any underperforming or retired professionals at any time. Those professionals are removed from all binders past and present.

Will my clients know what professionals I have recommended?

Yes, your clients will know which home professionals are your recommendations. The professionals are listed by contributor and are color-coded for ease of use. 

How much does my profile cost?

Your HomeBinder profile is complimentary from the partner that added you. There is never a charge.

If my inspector or lender added me, do I have to pay to change my profile information?

There is never a charge for your profile. We invite you to update/change your profile whenever you like.

How does HomeBinder work? 

The HomeBinder platform is used by homeowners to centralize all aspects of homeownership, including maintenance, projects, appliance information, capital improvements, home valuation, and more. HomeBinder is delivered by the businesses that service the residential market, and their revenue is generated from these businesses through a subscription model. The strategic value of HomeBinder to these businesses includes retaining client relationships by delivering property-specific information and maintenance reminders that generate 80% open rates.

Why can’t I see the information inside the binder? (inspection report, etc.)

HomeBinder has a strict privacy policy that protects the homeowner's information. Once the binder has been delivered to the homeowner, the account is protected from viewing by anyone other than the homeowner. The homeowner can share the binder with another email address and give full access or view only (no edit) access to the binder.

What is the Seller Report? How can I use it to help my client sell the home?

Agents and Home Sellers that receive HomeBinder from their inspector can leverage the site to help sell the home. Specifically, HomeBinder Seller Reports can set homes apart and add value to the listings in several ways:

• Provides detail that today’s buyers value and will not see elsewhere.

As such it can help maximize the value you capture in your home sale, make the process easier for all involved and help ensure that the home you (hopefully loved a lot) will be taken care of by the new owners as they will have the information they need.

Do you have marketing materials I can use?
